Do Your Numbers Kid!

Sarah Buddens

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her husband Todd have just put out scathing statements directed at comedian David Letterman.
In the late-night host's, "Top 10," he joked about Palin's visit to watch the Yankees and said Palin's daughter got "knocked up" by Alex Rodriguez.
The governor's spokeswoman, Meg Stapleton, sent these two statements, the first from Todd: "Any 'jokes' about raping my 14-year-old are despicable. Alaskans know it and I believe the rest of the world knows it, too."
The next was from the governor: "Concerning Letterman's comments about my young daughter (and I doubt he'd ever dare make such comments about anyone else's daughter): 'Laughter incited by sexually-perverted comments made by a 62-year-old male celebrity aimed at a 14-year-old girl is not only disgusting, but it reminds us some Hollywood/NY entertainers have a long way to go in understanding what the rest of America understands -- that acceptance of inappropriate sexual comments about an underage girl, who could be anyone's daughter, contributes to the atrociously high rate of sexual exploitation of minors by older men who use and abuse others.'"

Ok....who takes David Letterman THAT serious??? Palin and/or Buddens...LOL

Good News For the Dog

DMX has finally gotten some reprieve from his legal troubles as assault charges were dropped against him yesterday (June 8) morning.
X had been charged with felony attempted aggravated assault for an altercation with a Tent City Jail guard, according to AllHipHop.com. The rapper was serving 90 days for animal cruelty and fraud charges.
The assault charges were dropped after X pleaded guilty, and received no further reprimand for the transgression, save 18 months of supervised probation.
"DMX is standing on the corner eating a hot dog at the court house in Phoenix and is now a free man," said a representative for the rapper. “He is happy to be free and ready to begin his new life."

Joe Buddens is Trash Part 3

Back on HIS B.S. The wrong type of Busta

“Everybody took offense…you name it, they took offense to it,” Budden began. “Number one I’m entitled to my opinion. If a n*gga get offended at me having an opinion, suck a d*ck. Number two, what world are we in? [Are] we not rappers? We all rappers, some bigger than others. But we rap. Let’s rap. I want to rap, I want to always rap.”

You are right you are entitled to your own opinion..and your opinion can suck MY dick!

"I’m dead-ass when I talk. I have faith in my pen game,” Budden exclaimed. “And that’s how it should be. If you’re a rapper, I can’t see how you wouldn’t have the same attitude. If a n*gga said, ‘yo’ Joe Budden, you versus Eminem, whose gonna win?’ I’m going to say Joe Budden. I’m supposed to say it. Even if it’s the furthest thing from reality, you’re supposed to have utmost confidence in yourself and your craft. And if you don’t something is wrong with you.”

This is what hit me the most. You are sending a bad message to the youth. WRONG WRONG WRONG! You sound 10 years old right there. Didnt you see the last episodes of Arsenio and Yo MTV Raps? Didnt you see other MC's spitting other people's joints?? Its call respect! You can still be a hot MC and keep it real that another person is better than you. Since you are on HOV's dick so bad >>>ONE YOURSELF! Hip Hop for those of us who still dont get it has catagories. Do you put Emeniem in the same boat as Nelly?? I know i dont ...How about Nas and Uncle Luke...i know i dont...Some people are showmen, some battle, some hustle, etc...play your position. Meth is not even known as a battle dude..So call out someone who DOES battle otherwise your a bitchmade MC. Go at 50 i know he is ready. And i swear i will put up my car (its not hot) , my next check (about 800), all my vinyl (over 4000 pieces), and a plate from Justin's that you cant beat Cassidy!

And here is another piece from DeadlyX my newly found Buddens basher. Dude was funny but he was on point. Check him out on Twitter too.

Joe Buddens is a Bum Part 1

I am going to disect this Hump piece by piece (shouts to Illseed and the staff @ allhiphop.com for the interview)

AllHipHop.com: meedymek: “Question for Joe Budden, do u think people take your comments so personally because they are intimidated by you?”

Joe Budden: I think some people may be intimidated. I don’t think the majority of the people are. I think there are more idiots in the world than there are intelligent people. A lit of times I’ll say something and people aren’t able to comprehend what I am saying. I don’t know if their listening skills aren’t good or what, but they just take what I’m saying and misconstrue it.

Ok no one is scared of you bruh ..nobody KNOWS you!. Only underground MC's are aware of your presence and alot of them will sqaush you.

AllHipHop.com: This is one from the AllHipHop.com Ill Community. LESkidd asks, “Do u think u better than Redman?”
Joe Budden: [Laughs] You see what trouble that’s gotten me in. [laughs] Questions like that have gotten me in trouble as of late.
I mean, I would be more than willing to find out [if he’s better than Redman].

No...i dont think you would. First Redman has mad classics and IS known for rough rhymes and a battle-ish type of style. Method Man is not. You do not have enough emotion for one thing. Your delivery sucks. no personality. And last but not least..since you and some other bums are calling MC's that are older than you "OLD"...do you really want to lose to an MC that is not only from your homestate and gets more love there than you , but a nigga supposedly on his way out??? I dont think you do.

Joe Budden: I don’t think there are too many people that can out-rap me in a battle.

Here are 5- Papoose, Ransom, Scram Jones, Cassidy, Murda Mook ...make that 6-Myself

Police Are Bitches

LA Memories are starting to resurface. Im telling you a riot this time will not go like the last one. Somebody better do something QUICKLY! I dont know about the rest of you but i will not have it. I dont want any settlement money if i am a victim or witness...I am shooting.

Shouts Out To Fresh For The Same Story...Now ROLL UP!

I ran into a very interesting interview (via Nah Right.com) conducted by Jesse Serwer about the history of "The Blunt". I already kow your man is a legend andi know he knows whats going on in the streets, so its no surprise to me how on point he is at all on his rundown. Here is a snippett and a link...

When I interviewed Just-Ice about his classic ‘86 debut, Back to the Old School, for XXL recently, I asked him about his use of the term “blunts” in the track “Little Bad Johnny”—the first such mention in any rap song. His response was a detailed account of the evolution of every rapper’s favorite weedsmoking instrument. Naturally, this tangent didn’t make the piece, but I thought those interested in New York lore might appreciate Just’s breakdown of how the Jamaican practice of smoking weed out of large, hollowed-out tobacco leaves (known as “fronto leafs”) evolved into an NYC ‘hood staple and, eventually, an ubiquitous rap talking point.

“The reason why a cigar is called a blunt is very simple. If you’re old enough, you should remember El Productos. That is the original blunt. Besides a fronto leaf, cause a fronto leaf was always here. Truth is people just couldn’t get a hold of those unless you were Jamaican. So what you used to do is go to the store, get a tray bag of weed and an El Producto blunt. And you would unwrap them like a leaf and then you would put your weed in there and roll it back up.El Producto blunts, they went out of business in I think ‘85, ‘86. After the El Producto blunt, ’cause that was a strong ass cigar, a lot of people couldn’t take the pressure in they chest from the weed and the cigar. So El Producto created a new cigar called the Fino. That’s after the blunt. So that was a little lighter tasting. ‘Cause blunt actually means harsh. Now, a lot of people wasn’t skilled enough to unwrap the Fino and rewrap it over correctly, so they started smoking Phillies. With Phillies, all you had to do was split them open, put the weed in and roll it up. But a lot of people who smoked weed didn’t like Phillies, ’cause it burned too fast. Then we left the Phillies…Oh shit, my food’s burning, hold on…

I Keep On Fallin....

A fall from grace?? Ya slippin? Here one day gone the next??
FOX News has done it again. I am not totally against what they are saying (this time) but i am not feeling there approach on discussing the fall of todays athletes. They have recently published an article "10 athletes you don't want to be". I think that is a wack ass title first of all. 2nd, there are people who didnt make the list (Plaxico Burress) who should have and some who are on it i dont think are any where near a "bad role model" (Tracy McGrady) compared to the others on the list. Third athletes have been in many struggles in their personal lives just as any other person has, but at what point do you mind your business. Some of these people wont have kids knowing their business if you dont tell it. Now i cant condone an athlete that cheats or uses "performance enhancers", but does "Little Billy" need to know about a Golfer's drinking problem? A Baller's extra marital affair? I say no. Dont get me wrong its boils my blood to think how much money I make PER HOUR and these MF's get 10 times as much PER GAME and they throw it allllll away! BUT at some point i think the media needs to mind their business. Here is the top 10 list according to FOX:
10. Tracy McGrady
9. Sean Avery
8. Marion Jones
7. Adam 'Pacman' Jones
6. This year's No. 1 NFL draft pick
5. Danica Patrick
4. John Daly
3. Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens
2. Alex Rodriguez
1. Michael Vick

RIP to My Man Ryan from the Club to Eternity

Tiffanie I Will Pray For You...

I Repeat ...D-Roc is the Man

I told you Lil Kim was more than that movie said she was...

Quote from Mrs. Wallace:
"She [Kim] felt the character we chose for her was 'too dark'. Do you know why the character was too dark for her? Because she's a white woman trapped in a black woman's body, and you can tell the world I said it, because those are Lil' Kim's words. Tell Lil' Kim to go find herself, go drink a cup of green tea and get a life! This movie is not about Lil' Kim."

We Will Be Number 1!!!

Does Kim have a legitimate gripe?

We all know at least SOME of the Biggie and Lil Kim's story. Lil Lim met BIG they had something going on, Faith pops up, BIG falls in love and marries her, and the rest is history. Now Lil Kim upon the release of "Notorious" the movie, is very upset at her portrayal in the film. She went off on the writers and especially Naturi Naughton. But the question i have is, is she justified? According to Kim NOONE consulted her in the making of the movie. Faith states that is incorrect saying that she was presented a script. Her position in movie is exactly what she said she was not to BIG...a "jumpoff". I am not so sure about this either honestly. I know how a man can be and an MC on top of that, but I am not sure if it was THIS bad for Kim. Of course I was not there so who knows. It just seems like she may have been in that position but not quite as drastic as it was displayed, or maybe was not in that position at all ..only God and Kim know the truth. Lil Kim is planning on releasing her own film in regards to her life and interraction with Biggie Smalls.

Dream Fulfilled??

When CNN, Gallop, and the AP conducts these "polls" i often wonder ..who are you asking these questions to? Recently CNN conducted a poll and gave results staing that 69% of Blacks think Martin Luther King Jr.'s Dream has been fulfilled. I have to disagree.
First of all i am extremely proud of white America. I would be fake if i told you otherwise. I can easily admit this is the most respect i have felt from a white American in my entire life, thanks to people like MLK, Obama, and especially the Hip Hop culture. However, one element of racisim that has changed has not necessarily changed for the good. In MLK's day racism was broadcasted so you knew where racism was. They were very blunt about it, No Niggers Eat Here..No Nigger We Are Not Hiring..posted right on a sign outside the door. Dont get me wrong i very much appreciate the fact that i have the right to eat and work where i want, but how do you know with that mindset i want to eat or work in your establishment? When you say Dr. Kings dream has been fulfilled i dont think something like Affirmative Action would exist. How do i know who i work for? This is not an era where there are very few Black people who are educated and skilled, we have definetly advanced. Therefore a racist will not always broadcast their views when hiring a minority. If you know that a Mexican will bust his ass everyday, or a Black woman sells more than the average and you are in business, of course you will hire them biggott or not. I had to learn the hard way about a racist in regards to money...some white people dont like black but they loooove green.
Next, as far as the dream, let us not forget Dr. King not only spoke on White and Black Americans sticking together, but for BLACK Americans to stick together. How dare you Black people in that poll say Dr. Kings dream is done! There is still a mass amount of Black on Black crime, irresponsible fathers, miseducation, drug abuse, and an incarceration rate thats out of control. Once again i am proud of us as well. We have seen a tremendous improvemnet in status..but the dream?? Look at our other politicains and so-called leaders! Jesse's crying did not impress me after having a desire to cut Barak's balls off. Al and Oprah's approach to communicating with the Hip Hop nation was terrible. Did you forget about Jerimiah Wright? We need to stop stabbing each other in the back before we can even utter the words "dream fulfilled". That is absurd to think that we are over the bridge when we are barely treading water in our own hood. I have said this before, i feel like many things with Black American can be shared and tackled amongst everyone and some things cannot. Stop airing out our dirty laundry for the whole country to comment on and misinterrpret. If you want an end to the "N" word it will start at home not in White America. If you want real equality you must treat yourselves equal first. Like B.I.G. and Diddy said in the Notorious movie ...you can't change the world unitl you change yourself.

Dream still in progress
